    With roots originating from Kentucky and Baltimore, Jan-David Soutar has worked in film and theatre in New York and Los Angeles. He was discovered on HBO's "The Wire", starred in the award winning film "Roulette" and Jan-David has also won several awards for outstanding theatrical performances along with great reviews for his work, including the Playwrights Festival and Broadway World.

    As an accomplished stage and screen actor, Clayton’s career has spanned eight years and includes national televisions credits (Henry Safford in the National Geographic Channel’s “Killing Lincoln”) and appearances in local commercials (the National Aquarium in Baltimore). In 2010, he was named Best Lead Actor in a Feature at the Action On Film Festival for his work in the independent movie “Heaven Burns”. His role in “The Guide” marks Clayton’s fifth leading role in a feature film.

    Lives in Brooklyn and works in film and theatre. Originally from the Monterey Peninsula (SF bay area), and formerly a professional equestrian. He is the co-founder and managing producer of People in the Dark Productions.
